At the world, level is international tournaments held through FIFA, the international governing body for football tournaments who organizes the FIFA World Cup. This World Cup usually takes place every four years.
There are also club matches that are played among clubs.
Examples of leagues or tournaments that club football teams play are FA Cup, LaLiga and Champion’s League, etc. And tournaments that national football teams compete for are the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro, CAF and other preliminary games that they engage in to advance to such competitions.
